After Katrina - What Didn't Happen - Update

I predicted several weeks ago that satellite TV would considerably outperform government departments in providing services to hurricane victims sooner, faster and better. I picked satellite TV to illustrate the different private, decentralized and collective, centralized decision-making processes totally at random, but it turns out that if you subscribe to the Wall St. Journal you can read all about how quickly EchoStar has not only reconnected old but signed up new customers.
